The Prius and the Smoker

When it comes to a Prius, a few words come to mind:
- Green
- Energy Efficient
- Boulder, CO
- Healthy minded individual

So, when I saw a man driving down the road in his Prius while smoking a cigarette, it triggered some thoughts. First off... I tried to take into consideration that maybe this man was given the Prius as a rental car, and that he didn't have any other options. Second, maybe his car was broken and it was his significant others' car.

Aside from that, I imagine a Prius driver to embody the utmost form of respect for not only the earth, but themself! To me, a Prius isn't the most eye appealing vehicle on the planet, so it makes me think that most people purchase a Prius for its earth saving abilities. Say this puffer man purchased this vehicle... why would he try to save the earth by driving it, and not try to keep himself alive a long time too? Awfully pessimistic, don't you think? Some humans baffle me.
